Markus Holzer is not only a chef with a passion for pasta - he is also the landlord of the Jora refuge at the foot of the Rocca dei Baranci or Haunold mountain. And there with him, you will be able to conjure up all sorts of delicious and unusual pasta dishes such as nettle ravioli or juniper fusilli, using ingredients from South Tyrol. And then of course sample them with the appropriate wine.

Location / Meeting point
Journey to the parking lot of the Haunold valley station in San Candido. From there a short hike to Jora Mountain Dining at 1,325 meters above sea level in the middle of the Three Peaks Nature Park. Duration: 20 minutes 1. Depart from the Monte Baranci / Haunold lower station, pass the Erschbaum sports centre and continue along the meadow path to the Jora Hut. Duration: 90 minutes 2. From San Candido, follow the Sesto stream in the direction of Sesto, then branch off in the direction of “Bagni di San Candido / Wildbad Innichen”. Roughly 200m after the chapel, branch off to the right to reach the Jora Hut.
